About The Position

Our client is seeking an Austin-based Benefits Administrator to support the Human Resources team on a short-term contract basis. This role will provide day-to-day benefits administration support, assist with employee inquiries, and ensure accurate processing within HR systems. The position is fully onsite, Monday through Friday, in Austin, TX. Due to the immediate business need, we are moving quickly in the hiring process.

Requirements

  • Experience in benefits administration in a corporate setting
  • Hands-on experience with Workday (required)
  • Experience with FirstPoint (preferred; pending confirmation)
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree required (flexibility may be considered based on experience due to urgent business need)

Responsibilities

  • Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries
  • Process benefits enrollments, changes, and terminations in HRIS systems
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity
  • Support leave of absence and compliance documentation processes
  • Assist with benefits reporting and audits as needed
  • Partner with HR team members to support open enrollment and other benefits initiatives
