About The Position

HUB is seeking a Benefits Account Manager to join their Employee Benefits Insurance team. This role is responsible for serving Benefits clients (large groups of 100+), including both client companies and their employees. The Benefits Account Manager will work within a service team and play a key role in delivering a client experience that achieves the quality and service standards developed by the agency. This position is located in downtown San Antonio, TX, with a hybrid schedule (3 days office, 2 days remote) available after an onboarding period.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of employee benefits experience, to include group medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and ancillary products.
  • Proficiency in computer software applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Adobe.
  • A Texas General Lines Life & Health insurance license, to be obtained within sixty days of employment and maintained throughout employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with self-funded plans.
  • Experience with BenefitPoint ImageRight.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Serving Benefits clients (large groups of 100+), including both client companies and their employees.
  • Working within a service team of Account Managers, Account Executives, Account Coordinators, Marketing Analysts, and others, along with consultants/sales producers.
  • Delivering a client experience that achieves the quality and service standards developed by the agency.
  • Leading pre-renewal, renewal and enrollment processes.
  • Serving as a resource to clients on daily service needs, current market conditions and regulatory changes.
