This position is in our downtown San Antonio office and offers a hybrid schedule (3 days office; 2 days remote) after an initial onboarding period. Job Summary: We are currently seeking a Benefits Account Coordinator to join our Employee Benefits Insurance team. In this role, you’ll work with an account management team, assisting with daily service needs, pre-renewal, and renewal processes to help ensure exceptional client service. Collaboration and proactive engagement with Account Managers, Account Executives, and Sales Consultants are key to success. This position requires a Texas General Lines Life & Health insurance license, to be obtained within sixty days of employment and maintained throughout employment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Texas General Lines Life & Health insurance license, to be obtained within sixty days of employment and maintained throughout employment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite.
  • Organized with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently on an assignment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree strongly preferred
  • Recent/relevant experience in insurance preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is helpful.
