About The Position

The Benefit System Coordinator is responsible for building and maintaining the systems that support Personify Health's groups. This role involves setting up new groups, configuring systems, and managing changes throughout the group's lifecycle. Accurate work in this position ensures members receive the correct benefits, billing is accurate, and other departments can operate efficiently. The Benefit System Coordinator is central to the smooth operation of the company's services.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with benefits or eligibility administration systems (e.g., GIAS).
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Working knowledge of group setup, rate tables, renewals, plan building, and eligibility data.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree preferred but not required.
  • Background in benefits administration, insurance, or healthcare operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build new groups from the ground up, including creating and approving Salesforce setup sheets, configuring GIAS, ODR tables, and setting up test members.
  • Audit new group builds, eligibility, and products against rate cards before go-live to catch errors.
  • Maintain group records throughout their lifecycle, ensuring GIAS addresses, contacts, group names, accounts, plans, and PBM configurations are up-to-date.
  • Process renewals and rate updates, including monthly GAP renewals, updating rate tables for pass-through costs, refreshing renewal rate cards, and managing FSA renewal benefit plan information.
  • Handle terminations cleanly by processing group and account terminations, deleting PIDs on request, and administratively terminating members.
  • Resolve eligibility and billing issues by investigating and correcting errors.
  • Support specialty groups and vendor accounts, including maintaining Kempton groups, setting up Gap groups, adding vendor accounts, building COBRA new-group checklists, and processing change notices.
  • Partner with Account Management, Implementation, Plan Building, and Tech Ops to ensure group data alignment and clarity for internal and external teams.
