We're looking for a detail-oriented Benefits Analyst to join our HR team. In this role, you'll be the go-to resource for associates navigating their benefits — processing enrollments, auditing billing, and keeping everything running smoothly from open enrollment to 401(k) compliance.

Responsibilities

• Help associates understand benefits offerings and their associated costs
• Verify eligibility and audit enrollment for all plan participants
• Communicate benefits changes to carriers for new hires, terminations, and life events
• Manage evidence of insurability (EOI) forms and follow up to ensure coverage updates reach payroll
• Review coverage change requests to confirm qualifying events under Section 125
• Oversee Open Enrollment and ensure all eligible associates participate
• Audit and process monthly carrier billings accurately and on time
• Review associate payroll deductions to verify accuracy
• Report billing information to the accounting department with proper coding
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable federal and state benefits regulations
• Prepare and submit monthly HR reports
• Answer associate questions about the 401(k) plan
• Assist the Compliance Manager with 401(k) audits and plan management
• Track FMLA leaves as they relate to benefits and insurance plan billing
