About The Position
The Bench Technician will be responsible for recognizing and understanding basic computer hardware, assisting with vending machine installs and removals, and troubleshooting electronics issues. This role requires the ability to move vending units using an appliance dolly, differentiate between software and hardware issues, and read technical documentation. The technician will also be responsible for inventory management of spare parts and stock, processing RMA for outside repairs, and forecasting parts ordering.
Requirements
- Recognition and understanding of basic computer hardware.
- Ability to move vending units via an appliance dolly.
- Proficiency in reading technical documentation.
- Ability to use MS Office suite and software to provide/receive documentation.
- Proficiency in using a multimeter in electronics diagnosis.
- Proficiency in software installation and verification.
- Warehousing experience to keep accurate inventory of spare parts and stock.
- Knowledge of RMA processing for outside repair of troubled components.
- Ability to identify parts needs and forecast parts ordering.
