About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Team. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry according to their skill level. The team is focused on providing a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on current jeweler skillset and experience. The role is based at the Shops at Arbor Trails in Austin, Texas. Full-time work consists of 40 hours per week, with seasonal required overtime; hours vary and may include nights and weekends.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• 1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service mindset and high standards for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Availability for varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
• Full-time work is a 40-hour week, with seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge or experience in stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.
• Experience in chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring repair, wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom design and creation, or CAD/CAM design.

Responsibilities

• Restore jewelry and perform jewelry repairs to meet quality standards.
• Design and create custom jewelry according to current skillset.
• Perform bench work such as chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring repair, wax carving, fabrication, casting, and CAD/CAM design.
• Deliver customer-first service for custom jewelry design and repair.
• Complete a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
