About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Team. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry according to their skills. The team focuses on delivering a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom design and repairs. Signet offers training and continued learning, with opportunities to advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on current jeweler skills and experience. The role is full-time, with a 40-hour work week and seasonal required overtime.

Requirements

• One to three years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Availability for varying hours, including some nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Repair chains and clasps.
• Re-tip prongs and set stones.
• Create stone mountings.
• Perform channel and platinum rebuilds.
• Perform minor ring repairs and other jewelry repairs.
• Carve wax, fabricate jewelry, and cast pieces.
• Design and create custom jewelry.
• Perform CAD/CAM design work.
• Restore jewelry to its original condition and deliver a customer-first experience.
