About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers to join its Field Design & Service Center Team. Depending on skillset, Team Members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry. The team is dedicated to delivering a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers training and continuous learning, with opportunities to develop skills and advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is competitive and reflective of the Jeweler’s current skillset and experience. The position is full-time, consisting of a 40-hour work week, with varying hours including some nights and weekends and seasonal required overtime.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• 1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current Jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service orientation and a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Availability for varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
• Full-time schedule consists of 40 hours per week, with seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge or experience in stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.
• High school degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Restore jewelry to its original condition.
• Perform jewelry repairs, which may include chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, stone mounting, channel and platinum rebuilds, and minor ring repairs.
• Depending on skillset, perform wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom jewelry design and creation, and CAD/CAM design work.
• Deliver a customer-first experience for custom jewelry design and repair services.
