About The Position

The Bench Jeweler services and repairs clients’ jewelry, providing high-quality work and timely turnaround while following established processes to restore damaged jewelry to required standards. The role includes safely accounting for gemstones, diamonds, metals used in repairs, and customers’ jewelry, and completing approximately 20 repairs per day to meet goals and objectives.

Requirements

At least two years of experience in jewelry repairs.
Demonstrated proficiency in sizing, chain repair, prong and stone-setting repairs, stone tightening, shank work, all types of stone setting, and polishing or other finishing techniques.
Experience with laser welding.
Experience using a microscope.
Ability to read and understand instructions to complete repairs.
Willingness to train and share knowledge and experience.
Organized and able to communicate with others.
Must pass a bench test.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of invisible-set repairs.
Production experience.
Experience in laser engraving.

Responsibilities
