About The Position

Signet Jewelers is seeking entry-level and experienced Jewelers for its Field Design & Service Center Team at the Shoppes at Fountain Square in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and may design and create custom jewelry according to their current skillset. They are expected to deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs. Signet offers training and opportunities to develop and advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is based on the jeweler’s current skillset and experience.

The position is full-time, consisting of a 40-hour work week, with varying hours including some nights and weekends and seasonal required overtime. High school education or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service mindset and a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge or skills in stone setting, sizing, polishing, and jewelry repair.

Responsibilities

• Restore jewelry to its original condition through repair and related bench work.
• Perform jewelry work such as chain and clasp repair, prong retipping, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring repair, and other jewelry repairs, according to current skillset.
• Perform wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom design and creation, and CAD/CAM design work, according to current skillset.
• Deliver customer-first service for custom jewelry design and repairs.
