About The Position

Signet Jewelers is hiring entry-level and experienced Jewelers for its Field Design & Service Center Teams. Depending on skillset, team members restore jewelry, perform repairs, and design custom, one-of-a-kind pieces while delivering a customer-first experience. The company offers jeweler training and continuous learning, with opportunities to advance from beginner to artisan in a promote-from-within environment. Pay is described as competitive and reflective of current jeweler skills and experience. Full-time work consists of 40 hours per week, with seasonal required overtime and varying hours that may include some nights and weekends.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• 1–3 years of Bench Jeweler or relevant skilled-trades experience working with fine metals.
• Pass a qualified bench test to assess current jeweler level.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-service-minded approach and a high standard for quality work.
• Basic computer skills.
• Varying hours, including some nights and weekends.
• Full-time work is 40 hours per week, with seasonal required overtime.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge or experience in chain and clasp repair, re-tipping prongs, stone setting, creating stone mountings, channel and platinum rebuilds, minor ring repair and other jewelry repairs, wax carving, fabrication, casting, custom design and creation, and CAD/CAM design work.

Responsibilities

• Restore jewelry to its original condition.
• Perform jewelry repairs, including the listed repair and bench work as appropriate to the jeweler’s skillset.
• Design and create custom jewelry and one-of-a-kind pieces.
• Deliver a customer-first experience that exceeds expectations for custom jewelry design and repairs.
