Beltman - Overland - Traditional Schedule

About The Position

The Beltman performs beltline, belt-drive, and transfer maintenance in an hourly position. The work includes loading and unloading supplies, maintaining and changing belting and beltline components, installing mechanical splices, setting and recovering drives, and cutting and welding. The position requires following state and federal mining laws, working safely with coworkers, and performing strenuous tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment. The schedule is described as a MAD rotation every two weeks. The employee may also perform other assigned tasks for which they are qualified through training or experience.

Requirements

Must hold a WV Miner's Card - Black Hat.
Must be self-motivated and goal oriented.
Must be able to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
Must be able to use various hand tools.
Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull tools, materials, and supplies weighing 50–100 lbs. regularly.
Must be able to walk, bend, climb, reach, and crawl as necessary.
Must be able to work closely with others in a team environment.
