About The Position

As a Bellperson at Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows, you greet arriving guests and provide a welcoming, professional experience. You deliver guests to their rooms and transport luggage, messages, and other items throughout the hotel. You help guests become familiar with their rooms and hotel facilities, maintain a helpful presence in the lobby, and follow the hotel's service, safety, and department standards. This permanent, full-time position reports to the Guest Services Manager and pays $17.52–$21.90 gross per hour.

• Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including constant standing and walking; frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs; occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, and ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps; and exposure to hot surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guests to their rooms and deliver luggage, messages, and other items within the hotel.
• Assist guests according to Fairmont Hotels & Resorts brand and LQA standards.
• Consistently provide professional, friendly, and engaging service.
• Ensure timely and efficient transfer of luggage to and from guest rooms.
• Help guests become familiar with their rooms upon arrival, including temperature controls.
• Maintain a presence in the lobby when not delivering luggage and offer assistance under the direction of the MOD.
• Provide informative and helpful information about hotel facilities.
• Follow department policies, procedures, service standards, and safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
