About The Position

The Bellperson will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, assisting guests with luggage, and maintaining a welcoming presence at the hotel entrance. This role requires a high level of customer interaction and the ability to go above and beyond to provide a Four-diamond level of service.

Requirements

  • Previous valet experience
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Excellent Communication skills- both verbal and written required
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Good interpersonal skills required
  • Excellent listening skills required
  • The ability to work well as a team as well as individually at times
  • Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English
  • Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment
  • Must be adaptable and flexible to change
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • To remain calm and professional at all times
  • Ability to work under varying weather conditions
  • Be able to make quick decisions and possess good judgment
  • Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles

Nice To Haves

  • Previous customer service experience in a high-volume setting is preferred
  • Clean driving record is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Be the most outgoing and welcoming associate as guests arrive and depart the hotel
  • Maintain an impeccable grooming appearance and work uniform
  • Assist guests with luggage
  • Stay posted at the front entrance to greet guests
  • Support all of the guest services team and assist guests with any questions they may have
  • Respond to all guests for assistance, directions, and facilities information
  • Report all safety hazards and suspicious persons
  • Know all safety and emergency procedures and your role in assisting during these times
  • Adhere to strict department and attendance policies
  • Attend all required meetings
