About The Position

Barnsley Resort is a luxury destination in the foothills of Georgia’s Blue Ridge Mountains, offering a hospitality work environment centered on teamwork, creativity, and exceptional guest experiences. The Bellperson helps create memorable stays by welcoming guests, assisting with luggage, sharing information about resort amenities and local attractions, and helping maintain a warm, organized lobby. The role also includes escorting guests to their rooms, delivering items, and coordinating transportation as requested.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.
• Read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Valid CDL license where applicable.

Nice To Haves

• One year of prior Guest Services or Bell experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with the local area and attractions.

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving guests in a warm and friendly manner.
• Assist guests with luggage promptly and efficiently.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
• Escort guests to their rooms and explain room features and facilities.
• Deliver messages, packages, and other items to guest rooms.
• Coordinate transportation arrangements for guests as requested.
• Maintain a neat and organized lobby area.
• Anticipate and fulfill guest needs to support a memorable stay.
