Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Be able to work in extreme weather environments for long periods of time.
  • Be physically able to lift, reach, bend, stoop, and able to lift objects weighing up to 60 pounds.
  • Be able to work in standing position for long periods of time.
  • Be familiar with local areas and attractions.
  • Must have open availability to include overnight and pm shifts.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
  • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must possess basic computer skills and have a basic understanding of technology and common software used in daily operational tasks.
  • General knowledge of the city where hotel is located and its attractions.
  • Extensive knowledge of the hotel, its services and facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and offer courteous farewell on departure.
  • Assist with luggage handling, delivery, and storage, ensuring guest belongings are treated with care and respect.
  • Escort guests to and from their rooms, providing room orientation and responding to immediate needs.
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
  • Arrange transportation services (taxis, car service, airport transfers) as requested.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the hotel entrance, lobby, and bell desk.
  • Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues as needed.
  • Deliver amenities, messages, and parcels to guest rooms with discretion and efficiency.
  • Maintain knowledge of VIP and special guests, ensuring personalized service.
  • Coordinate with Front Office, Concierge, Valet, and Housekeeping to ensure smooth guest experiences.
  • Must always uphold safety, security, and confidentiality protocols.
