About The Position

Marriott Syracuse Downtown seeks a Part-Time Bell Person/Shuttle Driver to assist guests with luggage, perform pick-ups and drop-offs, and ensure high standards are met. The role requires a self-starting personality, professional appearance, good communication skills, and a willingness to be a team player. Every associate is considered a guest relations ambassador.

Requirements

• Valid NY Driver's License with a good driving record.
• Ability to ascertain information from luggage tags and claim checks to write numbers and names on claim checks and rooming lists.
• Ability to grasp, lift, and/or carry or otherwise move packages, boxes, and luggage with sufficient manual dexterity in both hands.
• Ability to load and unload luggage up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with luggage.
• Perform pick-ups and drop-offs at the airport.
• Assist guests upon check-in and check-out.
• Check luggage for hotel guests for day and overnight stays.
• Maintain the designated station in the lobby, remaining alert for guest needs.
• Drive guests from the airport to the hotel and show them to their rooms, assisting with luggage.
• Explain hotel facilities, their locations, and hours of operation.
• Answer guest questions about hotel facilities and other inquiries.
• Inspect vehicles used for pick-ups and drop-offs.
