About The Position

Bell Person and Driver - Summer Seasonal at DoubleTree! Are you a self-starter who loves introducing people to the Black Hills and working alongside a team while self-managing to ensure tasks are completed? DoubleTree needs a welcoming, courteous, and professional personality like yours! Ideal for students, retirees, or similar availability for this season! Requires 4:30 AM to 3PM availability with reliability and a clean driving record. Position is expected to work three to five shifts each week May through October. Primary responsibilities include transporting guests and their luggage, bringing baggage to guest rooms, occasional errands, and assisting the Front Office Team with other tasks including pricing and stocking marketplace, cleaning lobby area, emptying trash cans, and similar tasks. Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry luggage (luggage typically 50 lbs, occasionally up to 75 lbs.)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Dependable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Early morning and afternoon availability
• Must be at least 18 years old

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Rapid City area preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely transport hotel guests to and from designated locations (airport, local attractions, etc.)
• Assist guests with luggage during arrival and departure
• Provide excellent customer service and helpful local recommendations
• Run occasional errands for the hotel as needed
• Support front office operations with light cleaning and stocking duties
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lobby and front entrance areas
• Ensure the hotel vehicle is clean, fueled, and in good working condition
