Part-Time Behavioral Technician
About The Position
360 Human Services (formerly known as JFHS LLC) is a family-oriented company providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities. The company is seeking part-time Behavioral Technicians to work with toddlers, children, and teens at its San Bernardino Clinic. Behavioral Technicians provide one-to-one direct services and implement individualized treatment goals under the ongoing supervision of a Clinical Supervisor or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). They work as part of a clinical team that includes Case Supervisors, BCBAs, and trainers. All employees participate in extensive paid on-the-job training.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a high school diploma.
- Have a passion for making a positive difference in a child's life.
- Have prior experience working with toddlers, children, or teens in any capacity.
- Be available to work from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment goals in measurement and assessment, behavior reduction, and skill acquisition using appropriate materials and activities.
- Use Discrete Trial Training (DTT) and Natural Environment Teaching (NET) strategies as directed by the clinical team.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the functions of behavior; collect antecedent-behavior-consequence (ABC) narrative and frequency data, and understand how these data support client progress reports.
- Complete accurate documentation and reporting using paper records and electronic platforms, including CentralReach.
- Protect client information and discuss it only with authorized members of the client's clinical team. Use approved client identifiers in accordance with company procedures.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, coworkers, supervisors, and community members.
- Maintain the confidentiality of employee, client, and personal health information, and follow applicable HIPAA requirements and company policies.
