About The Position

Cambrian Homecare, LLC is hiring Behavioral Technicians to provide one-on-one care to children or adults with developmental disabilities in their homes. The role supports individuals with challenging behaviors and helps relieve family members from daily living activities. Weekend shifts are available, and flexible scheduling is offered. The position pays $24.00 per hour, with weekly pay and support from an office team available 24/7.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPI or Pro Act certification is required.
• At least 6 months of experience working with behavior is required.
• Must pass a background check, live scan, and reference check.
• Must have a current TB test, physical, CPR certification, and First Aid certification; these must be valid within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities and challenging behaviors, relieving family members from daily living activities.
• Implement behavior management strategies, including responding to physically aggressive behavior, as trained.
• Engage clients in activities they enjoy.
• Recognize and respond to behavioral patterns to anticipate and prevent triggers.
• Provide crisis intervention with the client’s safety in mind.
• Maintain a positive relationship with the client and family.
