The Behavioral Registered Technician is responsible for ensuring clients’ treatment programs are consistently implemented. This role involves establishing and maintaining therapeutic relationships, following treatment plan goals and interventions, and collaborating with family and treatment team members to provide effective treatment. The technician will prompt safe and socially acceptable replacement behaviors, fade prompts appropriately, and increase the frequency or duration of appropriate behaviors by providing access to reinforcers. They will also review participant progress objectively, collect behavior data, and ensure all clinical and residential documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner. Additionally, the technician will implement programs, train staff on implementation, schedule and prepare for leisure activities, and participate in training from clinical staff. They are responsible for attending clinical meetings, providing up-to-date residential status, identifying problem areas, and ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards. This role requires passing the RBT Competency Assessment annually and complying with BACB ethics requirements.
