About The Position

Building Connections Behavioral Health is hiring a Behavioral Interventionist to provide one-to-one behavioral therapy to children and teens ages 0–21 in homes, schools, and community settings. The role focuses on building independence, teaching essential life skills, and supporting families. The position is part-time, with potential to reach full-time, and the stated schedule is weekdays from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Pay is $22–$27 per hour, depending on education and experience in the field or a related industry. Multiple start dates are available. The company provides paid training to earn RBT certification, supervision and ongoing support from Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and opportunities for growth.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Passion for helping children succeed and grow.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
• Required immunizations: MMR, Tdap, Varicella, and Hep B, plus TB clearance within four years.

Nice To Haves

• RBT certification; candidates without certification must be willing to earn it within 90 days.
• Experience with children on the autism spectrum.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized ABA therapy at home, in schools, or in the community.
• Teach communication, social, play, and self-help skills.
• Implement behavior support plans and track client progress.
• Engage with clients through play and recognize their milestones.
• Collaborate with families and provide parent education.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment.
