About The Position
People Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Intervention Specialist to support people with developmental and intellectual disabilities through person-centered, trauma-informed behavioral services. The role serves as the clinical lead for behavioral supports within assigned programs and works to improve quality-of-life outcomes for people served. The position offers collaboration, stability, and meaningful behavioral work. It is based in Western New York and has a Monday–Friday hybrid schedule, with an hourly pay range of $32–$35.
Requirements
- Meet one of the following qualifications: a master’s degree in social work, psychology, applied behavior analysis, or a related clinical field; BCBA certification; Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC); Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW); or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
- Have a valid driver’s license that meets agency policy.

Responsibilities
- Conduct functional behavior assessments.
- Develop and revise behavior support plans.
- Provide hands-on coaching and modeling to direct support professionals (DSPs) and program leads.
- Analyze behavioral data and adjust interventions accordingly.
