About The Position

The Behavioral Intervention Case Coordinator is responsible for managing cases, ensuring family satisfaction through proper support, advocacy, and timely communication. This role involves conducting required assessments, tracking client progress, adapting to family needs, and attending court appointments and other professional family-based meetings. The coordinator will also assist in matching Behavioral Interventionists (BIs) to homes, reviewing incident reports, facilitating referrals, intakes, and meet & greets, and submitting recommendation and approval letters for services. A key responsibility is creating and updating behavioral plans for each client. The role also involves updating families and the BI Team throughout the admission process, completing quarterly meetings and bi-annual assessments, writing and submitting renewals on time, updating electronic health records, and completing end-of-month reports. Case closure and aftercare follow-up meetings, assessments, and documentation are also part of the role, as is reviewing BI Quarterly Progress Reports and providing feedback to staff. In addition to case management, the role includes administrative leadership and supervision, focusing on employee satisfaction and building a strong team. This involves providing BIs with support and advocacy, assisting with hiring and onboarding new BI staff, planning and conducting monthly BI meetings, and conducting supervisory reviews of BIs. The coordinator will communicate concerns to the Program Manager, complete BI evaluations, provide in-home observation shifts with feedback, and track missed shifts and shift note completion. Support during OHI Investigations and collaboration with partner agencies and community stakeholders are also expected. Maintaining CPR/First Aid certification, collaborating with branch offices for program fidelity, and attending required trainings are also essential. The role also contributes to outcome planning and quality improvement by completing agency reports and statistics, ensuring procedures are in place to track program outcomes, and ensuring compliance for resource provider files. Collaboration with the Program Manager on Critical Incident Reports and timely review of all Incident Reports are also required.

Requirements

  • MA/MS (or BA/BS + 2 years) in social work, psychology, public administration, or related human services field
  • Previous experience with at-risk populations
  • Familiarity with the child welfare system

Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper support, advocacy, resources, and timely communication for families.

  • Assist the Program Manager in completing necessary corrective actions & terminations.
  • Update and track employee timecards.
  • Provide support to BIs during OHI Investigations.
  • Serve as a team player to effectively and efficiently serve clients.
  • Maintain contact and build relationships with partner agencies and community stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong, open communication with the BI Team.
  • Maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Collaborate with branch office(s) to ensure program fidelity.
  • Attend required trainings for ongoing professional development.
  • Complete agency reports/statistics.
  • Ensure procedures are in place to track/report program outcomes & quality assurance.
  • Ensure compliance for all resource provider files.
  • Collaborate with the Program Manager to complete Critical Incident Reports.
