About The Position

The Behavioral Intervention Case Coordinator is responsible for case management, ensuring family satisfaction through proper support, advocacy, and resources. This role involves attending court appointments, matching Behavioral Interventionists (BIs) with families, reviewing incident reports, and facilitating referrals and intakes. The coordinator will create and update behavioral plans, manage the admission process, and conduct quarterly meetings and bi-annual assessments. Additionally, the role involves administrative leadership and supervision of BIs, focusing on employee satisfaction and team building. This includes supporting BIs, assisting with hiring and onboarding, planning meetings, conducting supervisory reviews and evaluations, providing in-home observations, tracking missed shifts, and supporting investigations. The coordinator is expected to be a team player, maintain contact with partner agencies, and ensure CPR/First Aid certification. The role also includes outcome planning and quality assurance, such as completing agency reports, tracking program outcomes, ensuring compliance for resource provider files, and reviewing critical incidents.

Requirements

  • MA/MS (or BA/BS + 2 years) in social work, psychology, public administration, or related human services field
  • Previous experience with at-risk populations
  • Familiarity with the child welfare system
  • Resourcefulness in setting priorities, creating efficiencies, guiding investment in people & system

Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper support, advocacy, resources, and timely communication for family satisfaction.
  • Score and track client progress, adapting to family needs through required assessments.
  • Attend court appointments and other professional family-based meetings.
  • Match BIs to homes.
  • Review Incident Reports and follow up with families.
  • Facilitate Referral Triage, Intake, and Meet & Greets for each family.
  • Submit Recommendation & Approval Letters for services.
  • Create, obtain approval for, and review/update Behavioral Plans for each client.
  • Update families and the BI Team throughout the Admission process.
  • Complete Quarterly Meetings & Bi-annual Assessments with each family & BI Staff.
  • Write and submit renewals on time.
  • Update SAM, electronic health record, and profiles.
  • Complete and Submit End of Month Reports.
  • Complete Case Closure & Aftercare Follow-up meetings, assessments, and documentation.
  • Review BI Quarterly Progress Reports and provide feedback to staff.
  • Build a strong sense of team and ensure employee satisfaction.
  • Provide BIs with proper support and advocacy.
  • Assist with the hiring and onboarding of new BI Staff.
  • Help plan and conduct BI monthly meetings.
  • Conduct supervisory reviews of BIs and communicate concerns to the Program Manager.
  • Complete BI's 90-day & annual evaluations.
  • Provide in-home observation shifts of BIs and provide feedback.
  • Track all missed shifts and check shift notes for completion.
  • Assist the Program Manager with necessary corrective actions and terminations.
  • Update and track employee timecards.
  • Provide support to BIs during OHI Investigations.
  • Serve clients effectively and efficiently as a team player.
  • Maintain contact and build relationships with partner agencies and community stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong, open communication with the BI Team.
  • Maintain CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Collaborate with branch office(s) to ensure program fidelity.
  • Attend required trainings for ongoing professional development.
  • Complete agency reports/statistics.
  • Ensure procedures are in place to track and report program outcomes & quality assurance.
  • Ensure compliance for all resource provider files.
  • Complete Critical Incident Reports with the Program Manager.
  • Complete all Incident Report Reviews on time.
