About The Position
Signet Health is recruiting a full-time Licensed Therapist (LCSW or LPC) for its Senior Adult Outpatient Behavioral Health program at St. Joseph's Health–Burleson Hospital in Caldwell, Texas. The therapist provides outpatient behavioral health services to senior adults, including counseling, assessments, crisis intervention, and treatment planning. This is an on-site, Monday–Friday, day-shift position. Signet Health describes its compensation as competitive and offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling.
- Active Texas licensure as an LCSW or LPC, or eligibility for licensure.
- Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate proficient oral and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of two years of related work experience is highly desired.
- Experience providing group and individual therapy to senior adults in an outpatient setting.
- Experience facilitating patients’ access to community resources.
Responsibilities
- Provide mental health counseling to individuals, groups, and families.
- Conduct initial assessments.
- Provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Keep case files and other records updated in compliance with policy and CMS regulations.
- Coordinate treatment planning.
- Assist with referral development and community education.
