About The Position
Avance Care is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist Eating Disorder Specialist to join their Integrated Behavioral Health Team in Durham. Requirements
- Active license as a behavioral health professional (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, Psychological Associate, or equivalent)
- Experience working with a diverse patient population
- Strong technological proficiency, including Electronic Health Records (EHR), Telehealth service delivery, and Digital communication and documentation tools.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with children is a plus.
- Experience conducting brief ADHD screenings and coordinating referrals.
Responsibilities
- Provide therapy to patients with eating disorders.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team including MDs, NPs/PAs, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Therapists, and Dietitians.
- Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) for documentation.
- Deliver telehealth services.
- Engage in digital communication and documentation tools.
- Conduct brief ADHD screenings and coordinate referrals (preferred).
