About The Position

This Behavioral Health Technician position offers a 4-day work week (Monday–Thursday) with your paycheck rounded up to 40 hours, giving you more time off without sacrificing income. You’ll work directly with children and adolescents in a structured behavioral health program, providing support, supervision, and guidance throughout their day. This role is a great fit for individuals who are currently studying or building a career in psychology, counseling, or behavioral health, or who have prior experience working in a similar setting.

Requirements

Must be 21+ years old (required for driving clients)
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to stay calm and effective in high-energy or stressful situations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A genuine interest in working with youth

Nice To Haves

Experience in behavioral health, mental health, or social services
6–12 months of experience working with youth or in a care setting
Current or recent coursework in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field

Responsibilities

Support clients throughout their daily program, including activities, group sessions, and transitions
Provide direct care, supervision, and emotional support
Transport clients to and from the facility (company vehicle)
Observe behaviors and document progress and changes
Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment
De-escalate situations and respond appropriately when needed
Collaborate with clinical staff to support treatment plans
