Behavioral Health Technicians play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health disorders, developmental disabilities, and substance use challenges.

Requirements

• All employees must be at least 20 years of age.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) from an accredited institution.
• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
• One to three months of related experience and/or training in a related field.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assistance with hygiene, meals, and medication support.
• Monitor and document patient behavior and progress.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and help patients build coping skills.
• Respond to crisis situations with a focus on safety and de-escalation.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation.
• Collaborate with clinical staff and participate in team meetings.
• Support patient and family education and facilitate group activities.
• Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations, including HIPAA.
