Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in caregiving, preferably within Alzheimer’s and dementia/memory care units.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently when required.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for enhancing the quality of life for those in your care.
  • Compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor to effectively connect with residents.
  • Strong communication and observation skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily dishwashing, serving, and dining duties to ensure a clean and pleasant dining experience for residents.
  • Engage in housekeeping tasks to maintain a tidy and welcoming environment.
  • Handle laundry services to keep residents' clothing and linens tidy and organized.
  • Provide assistance to residents with daily activities while maintaining their dignity, privacy, and comfort.
