About The Position
The Behavioral Health Technician provides direct service and support as part of a multidisciplinary team in a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week, 365-day crisis stabilization program assessing mental health and substance use disorders. The role supports clients throughout the program and helps maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. The position also requires participation in quality improvement training and adherence to safety protocols. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Six months of related experience.
- Knowledge of or experience with health and safety protocols to help ensure a safe work environment.

Responsibilities
- Greet and engage incoming clients.
- Assist clients around the ICSC, including directing them to locker rooms and assisting with laundry.
- Help clients participate in recreational activities.
- Assist with cleanup of client treatment rooms and recreational areas to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Help ensure the health and safety of staff and clients in emergency situations.
- Assess situations for importance, urgency, and risks, and make timely decisions in the organization's best interests.
- Facilitate sharing of relevant data with individuals to support partnered decision-making and keep clients informed of progress.
- Complete QI training during onboarding and participate in refresher training as needed.
- Cultivate an inclusive culture that respects employees' individual strengths, views, and experiences.
- Follow established safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
