Behavioral Health Technician VIRTUAL JOB FAIR
About The Position
The Behavioral Health Technician provides direct service and support as part of a multidisciplinary team in a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week, 365-day crisis stabilization program serving people with mental health and substance use disorders. The position involves welcoming and engaging clients, supporting their participation in daily and recreational activities, and helping maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. The technician also supports client-informed, partnered decision-making and helps protect the health and safety of clients and staff. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and six months of related experience. Experience in an acute psychiatric setting is preferred. The posting describes an opportunity to join CN Guidance & Counseling Services, which provides integrated clinical treatment, counseling, housing, and support services. A virtual job fair is scheduled for October 26, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities
- Greet and engage incoming clients.
- Assist clients around the ICSC, including directing them to locker rooms and assisting with laundry.
- Help clients participate in recreational activities.
- Assist with cleanup after clients use treatment rooms and recreational areas to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Help ensure the health and safety of staff and clients in emergency situations.
- Assess situations for importance, urgency, and risk, and make timely decisions in the organization's best interests.
- Share relevant data with the individuals to whom it applies to support partnered decision-making and keep clients informed of their progress.
- Complete Quality Improvement (QI) training during onboarding and participate in refresher training as needed.

- Follow safety protocols, procedures, and established guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
