About The Position

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician for the evening shift at its Lake Ariel residential facility. The role supports daily residential operations and helps maintain a warm, positive recovery environment. The facility provides detox and inpatient rehabilitation services with round-the-clock client supervision and care.

Requirements

• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• A warm, empathetic personality and the ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character that models recovery principles.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of experience in the recovery field.
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum of one year of sustained sobriety.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily residential operations, including intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, and medications.
• Train and support the Behavioral Health Technician team in operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to the Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure clients and Behavioral Health Technicians comply with Avenues rules, policies, and procedures.
