Behavioral Health Technician (must be 21+ years of age)

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with youth or in behavioral health is preferred
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and set consistent, healthy boundaries
- Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, or overnights as needed
- A good sense of humor, a big heart, and a reliable alarm clock
- Must be 21+ years of age
Nice To Haves
- associate’s or bachelor’s in psychology, social work, or related field a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide daily supervision, support, and positive engagement to residents
- Assist with the implementation of treatment plans under clinical direction
- Monitor behaviors and model healthy communication and coping strategies
- Complete accurate documentation of interventions and observations
- Support with crisis de-escalation using approved therapeutic techniques
- Work closely with therapists, nurses, and admin staff
- Occasionally win at Uno or lose gracefully at ping pong
