About The Position

This role involves providing direct behavioral health patient care, assisting patients with daily living activities, and supporting diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions. The technician will observe and record patient behavior, report changes in condition, and suggest treatment plan modifications. A key aspect of the role is establishing a therapeutic relationship with assigned patients.

Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Bachelors degree in Psychology or similar field
  • Psych experience

Nice To Haves

  • Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention preferred.
  • Nurse Aide credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Observe and record patient behavior and activities.
  • Report any changes in condition and suggest modifications to the treatment plan.
