About The Position

This PRN Mental Health Technician/Program Support Specialist II role offers flexible 4, 6, or 12 hour shifts, ideal for building clinical experience alongside school, a second job, or other commitments. You'll serve as the primary caregiver for psychiatric patients ages Pre-K through adolescent, supporting daily living activities, maintaining a safe therapeutic environment, and helping manage challenging behaviors. You'll also take part in crisis intervention, teaching, group process, and on-call rotations as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required preferably in psychology, child development, social work or related field
• Child growth and development education required
• CPR - BLS within 60 days of start date
• CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention - Units 1-7 & 9-10 plus the CPI Children's Control Position from Unit 8 must be completed within 60 days of start date

Nice To Haves

• Experience in inpatient or partial hospital psychiatric treatment preferred
• Pediatric experience preferred
