Behavioral Health Support Specialists - Jefferson
About The Position
The Behavioral Health Support Specialist delivers services to individuals residing in a Residential Treatment Home according to personalized service plans. The role provides direct supportive services to residents who experience severe and persistent mental illness. Experience in this position qualifies as experience for QMHA R. This is a full-time, on-call relief position located in Jefferson. Current shifts are Sunday through Tuesday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Thursday, 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Starting wage is $20.14 per hour, with a wage scale of $20.14–$24.50 per hour. Night shifts receive an additional $0.75 per hour.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Current Oregon driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass background check screening.
- At least one year of education and/or experience in mental illness, emotional or behavioral difficulties, or other related conditions.
Responsibilities
- Deliver services to Residential Treatment Home residents according to personalized service plans.
- Provide direct supportive services to residents experiencing severe and persistent mental illness.
