About The Position

The Behavioral Health Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations for assigned units. This role involves directly overseeing, supervising, and training management/Direct Professional Service staff according to Eisenhower standards. The supervisor will serve as a leader and role model on campus, ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of all residents. This includes promoting a supportive and positive living environment, adhering to clinical guidelines for each resident's plan of care, and ensuring residential units operate in accordance with facility/corporate standards. The position requires ensuring that funder, medical, and clinical plans of care are followed by staff and collaborating with all departments to assist in developing/managing plans of care and improving the quality of life for each resident.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of management experience
  • 3+ years of behavioral healthcare experience

Responsibilities

  • Directly oversee, supervise, and train residential staff per Eisenhower standards with emphasis on accountability to job descriptions.
  • Assign duties and responsibilities to staff members and monitor performance.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff members.
  • Ensure assigned duties are followed through on and meeting deadlines, including monthly drills, recreation calendar creation, coordinating staff meetings, ensuring timecards are completed, printing and posting client schedules, managing resident funds, ensuring vehicle logs are completed, auditing DPN submissions, managing employee relations with HR, auditing direct data sheets, recording weights/vitals, developing and implementing new hire training/shadowing, and ensuring day program attendance where applicable.
  • Ensure unit staff are in compliance with EC/Statewide requirements.
  • Review and follow up on all incident reports.
  • Attend scheduled shift reports.
  • Attend all required meetings as assigned.
  • Manage floor maintenance and management for residential units.
  • Ensure a high standard of quality of care facility-wide.
  • Handle Residential On Call - ROC duties.
  • Ensure staffing levels meet compliance and needs.
  • Ensure Recipient Rights posters are up to date on the unit and any other needed as assigned.
  • Assist with developing a plan of care/IPOS with the CMH Resident Participation and treatment team.
  • Coordinate/attend Team Meetings/Case Review Meetings.
  • Ensure that the IPOS and other clinical goals are implemented with the residential unit staff, as trained by clinical team members.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
