About The Position

Oak Street Health's graduate Behavioral Health Specialist Fellowship is a 12-month paid training program preparing clinicians to provide behavioral health care to older adults. Fellows learn the collaborative care model in a value-based setting through training in evidence-based interventions and psychotropic medications, clinical supervision hours from a licensed clinical social worker, and didactic instruction designed to build on graduate training. Fellows are expected to work at Oak Street Health for 24 months after completing the program. The role is based at Pikes Peak Park in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Requirements

• Genuine passion for behavioral health and short-term, solution-focused therapy.
• Supportive attitude toward older adults.
• Embrace teamwork and collaboration with colleagues.
• Interest in an innovative model focused on empirically guided population health.
• Family, Adult, or Adult-Gerontology Social Worker who has graduated or will graduate from a training program.
• Willingness to work at the assigned location for the duration of the program.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA in the MSW program.
• Must hold, or obtain by the fellowship start date, an active, non-probationary lower-level social work license in the state of employment.
