About The Position

Oak Street Health’s graduate Behavioral Health Specialist Fellowship is a 12-month paid training program designed to prepare social work graduates to become confident and competent clinicians serving older adults. Fellows develop knowledge of evidence-based interventions and psychotropic medications, earn clinical supervision hours from a licensed clinical social worker, and participate in didactic learning that builds on graduate training. The fellowship uses a collaborative care model in a value-based healthcare setting focused on care quality. Fellows are expected to work at Oak Street Health for 24 months after completing the program. The position is based at Pikes Peak Park in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Requirements

Graduated or will graduate from a Family, Adult, or Adult-Gerontology Social Work training program.
Willingness to work at the assigned location for the duration of the program.
Minimum GPA of 3.0 in the MSW program.
Hold, or be able to hold by the fellowship start date, an active, non-probationary lower-level social work license in the state of employment.
Genuine passion for behavioral health and short-term solution-focused therapy.
Supportive attitude toward older adults.
Embrace teamwork and collaboration with colleagues.
Interest in an innovative model focused on empirically guided population health.

Responsibilities
