About The Position

The Behavioral Health Social Worker provides emotional support, crisis intervention, and counseling to patients and families facing challenges related to treatment, illness, disability, or trauma. This role involves information and referral services, including referrals for financial assistance and supportive services. The position also includes case management, milieu management, completing psychosocial assessments, assisting in the development and re-evaluation of Treatment Plans, and collaborating as a member of an interdisciplinary team. A key responsibility is coordinating discharge planning and completing necessary documentation to maintain clinical records for each client.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or other related field.
Current registration as an intern with the Board, as appropriate to education and licensing requirements.
Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Nice To Haves

Masters in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor or related field.
Minimum one (1) year Inpatient or Outpatient Behavioral Health experience.
Bilingual
