About The Position

VitalCore Health Strategies (VCHS), a leader in Correctional Health Care, is seeking a Behavioral Health Professional (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, Licensed Psychologist) for the Volusia County Jail in Daytona Beach, Florida. This is a Full-Time Night Shift position. Requirements

• Must be a Licensed, Master’s Level Behavioral Health Clinician who can assess and make treatment decisions, and provide Mental Health treatment
• Must hold one of the following licensures in the state of Florida- LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, or Licensed Psychologist; intern and provisional licensures also accepted

Responsibilities

• Performs individual and group therapeutic interventions as appropriate.
• Performs administrative consults for specialized social services as determined by the specific needs of the Institution.
• Performs specific psychiatric social service work on the Behavioral Health Unit of a Correctional Facility.
• Assists in planning and implementing the goals and objectives of programs and projects. May direct special projects as requested.
• Participates in and conducts in-service programs, as well as assists in the orientation of new staff and provides the necessary preparation of documentation, necessary records and reports.
• Attends training and meetings as required.
