Behavioral Health Professional Coordinator

State of Oklahoma•Tulsa, OK

About The Position

The Behavioral Health Professional Coordinator supervises designated staff and supports their ongoing development to provide high-quality, integrated, comprehensive, individualized care. The coordinator directs operations and services to help individuals achieve self-identified goals and organization-defined recovery and wellness outcomes. The role ensures culturally and linguistically responsive services consistent with organizational priorities, with attention to reducing disparities in access to services. The coordinator provides staff evaluations and other administrative duties; interviews individuals and families in person or by telehealth to identify needs and resources; and develops treatment plans collaboratively with individuals, families, and the clinical team. The position ensures assessments, individual, group, and family counseling, and crisis intervention are individualized, delivered with fidelity to evidence-based approaches, documented according to facility policy, and consistent with direct-care service standards. The coordinator participates in interdisciplinary staffing, clinical consultations, and facility on-call rotations to support continuity and quality of care. Other duties may be assigned. The position is based in the Social Work Department at Tulsa Center for Behavioral Health, a psychiatric hospital serving adults aged 18 and older experiencing a mental health crisis, with or without co-occurring substance use disorders, who are medically stable. The facility provides evidence-based, patient-centered care in a safe, structured, therapeutic environment. A replacement facility, the Oklahoma Psychiatric Care Center, is under construction in downtown Tulsa.
