Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
BLS Cert American Heart_non ecard (BLS AHA) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART)
BLS Certification Grace (BLS GRACE) - Employee Grace Period for Essential Credential (GRACE)
BLS Cert Red Cross (BLS RC) - Red Cross (RED CROSS)
Certified Recovery Support Specialist (CRSS) - Florida Certification Board (FCB)
Driver License Num (DRIVER LIC) - Department of Motor Vehicles
Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Other skills include time-management skills, knowledge of community resources and strong written communication skills.
A minimum of one (1) year of related experience.
Must include lived experience of recovery from mental health or substance use disorders.
Complete WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) training within 6 months of hire.
Must obtain the Certified Recovery Peer Specialist (CRPS) designation within 18 months of hire.
