About The Position

Under the general direction of the Behavioral Health Division Director, the Behavioral Health Operations Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating day-to-day operational functions across Behavioral Health programs. This position ensures effective operational processes, regulatory compliance, the implementation and monitoring of quality assurance and performance improvement activities that support high-quality, accessible behavioral health services. The Behavioral Health Operations Manager provides direct supervision of supervisory, professional, and administrative staff. The role focuses on translating Division priorities into effective operational practices, supporting cross-program coordination, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in alignment with Departmental and County goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a field related to area of assignment.
  • 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in area of assignment.
  • 2 years of managerial or supervisor experience (Supervisory experience includes the authority to hire, terminate, assign, reward and discipline other employees).
  • Valid Oregon Driver’s License.
  • Ability to drive and may require use of a personal vehicle.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
