Behavioral Health Manager (Licensed Social Worker) - OutPatient
About The Position
Signet Health is seeking a qualified and organized Illinois licensed social worker to fill the Behavioral Health Manager position for Memorial Behavioral Health Center's outpatient program in Springfield, IL. This role involves providing oversight for the outpatient behavioral health program, which offers mental health services to adults, senior adults, and children & adolescents. The position is hospital-based, with all benefits and salary provided by the hospital. Requirements
- Unencumbered Illinois Master's level license - LCSW, LCPC, or equivalent.
- Experience with program development and supervision
- Experience working with patients of varying ages and backgrounds
- Be able to pass background and drug screen
- Have or be able to obtain IM + CANS certification within 30 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Management experience in community mental health
- Knowledge of community agencies
- Familiarity with Illinois mental health services and the child welfare state system
Responsibilities
- Overseeing all day-to-day operations of the outpatient program
- Hands-on supervision for approximately 20 staff
- Experience leading program development with short-term and long-term goals
- Ensuring compliance with hospital, state, federal, and licensing agency regulatory standards
- Establishing relationships with community leaders and service providers to promote/foster the positive reputation of the program
