About The Position

Lifepoint Behavioral Health is seeking a Social Worker (LMSW) to join their Behavioral Health team at National Park Medical Center. This role is crucial in helping individuals navigate mental health challenges and build healthier futures. The Social Worker will provide individualized and group therapeutic services, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and discharge coordination for behavioral health patients. They will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, support patients and families through critical transitions, and contribute to developing programming that promotes recovery and long-term wellness. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours between 9 am-5 pm or 8 am-4 pm.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field, required
• LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LPC-I, or LMFT, preferred (or eligible to obtain licensure within 6 months)
• Behavioral health experience; preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and provide individual, group, and family therapy
• Lead psychoeducational and psychotherapy groups
• Coordinate discharge planning and community resource referrals
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and treatment teams
• Support patients in crisis and promote positive mental health outcomes
• Document care and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards
