Behavioral Health Dual Diagnosis Outpatient Therapist
About The Position
EBCAP Behavioral Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dual Diagnosis Clinician to join our Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) team. Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
- Independent licensure in Rhode Island (LICSW or LMHC required)
- Experience with co-occurring disorders and outpatient psychotherapy
- Familiarity with MAT, ASAM Criteria, and EMR-based documentation
- Strong clinical judgment, time management, and team collaboration skills
- 3 - 7 years of experience
Nice To Haves
- Dual LCDP licensure preferred
- Experience in community mental health, FQHC, or CCBHC settings
- Training in CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, or Trauma-Informed Care
Responsibilities
- Carry a caseload of adults with co-occurring disorders, providing comprehensive clinical services across the full continuum of outpatient care
- Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop person-centered recovery plans in collaboration with clients and an interdisciplinary team
- Deliver individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches
- Apply ASAM Criteria for level-of-care determinations and collaborate with prescribers on MAT integration
- Provide crisis intervention, suicide risk assessment, and safety planning
- Document within an EMR using collaborative documentation practices
- Engage in case consultations, team communication, and community coordination
