Requirements

Master's Degree in a related field required.
3–5 years of related experience required.
Experience working with diverse patient populations while demonstrating cultural humility and a commitment to continuous learning.
Experience advocating for patients and navigating healthcare and community-based systems.
Strong clinical judgment and ethical decision-making.
Experience conducting psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and timely clinical documentation.
Ability to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.
Knowledge of community resources and appropriate referral practices.
Commitment to professional growth, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide outpatient individual and family psychotherapy to a pediatric patient population.
Complete comprehensive behavioral health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including play therapy, family systems therapy, and other age-appropriate treatment modalities.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, primary care providers, and community partners to coordinate patient care.
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with organizational, state, and regulatory standards.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case consultations, and clinical collaboration.
Provide education, guidance, and support to patients, families, and caregivers to promote positive behavioral health outcomes.
Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold professional and ethical standards of practice.
